I had been asked to provide a list of early-season tournaments in the area. Ask and I will provide…at least sometimes.
I’ll add to it whenever there’s a chance, but here’s what I have compiled so far:

Josh Thomson has done some of everything since joining The Journal News in March 2003. He began working for the Gannett weeklies during the winter of 2002 as a freelance writer. Hey Josh, what about the Lourdes tournament?
As I said above, these are the tourneys I have. There are definitely a few others- Spring Valley, Port Chester, Lourdes, the Big 4 in Carmel – but I’m not sure of the matchups. If anyone has info send it to me.
The Albertus Magnus Christmas tournament might be the most prominent tournament in the area, not sure of the matchups, but might want to add that to the list.
Today’s paper says for the Scarsdale Tourney that tomorrow it’s “non region opponent” at Scarsdale and nothing about Briarcliff vs. Ossining. Was the Briarcliff Ossining game moved? When is it and what time?
No, that was a mistake in the paper. Briarcliff and Ossining play at 5 p.m.
I fixed it for the paper tomorrow. I’ve received more tournaments and will update this list shortly.
I have updated some tournaments. Coaches have done a great job shipping the info to me.
