I caught up with Mary Abrams last night after North Rockland’s 56-54 loss to Ursuline in its season opener. Abrams had 19 points, six rebounds, four assists and two blocks despite playing with a heavily bandaged left wrist. She hurt her wrist in a fall at practice last week and it hurt after a fall during the second quarter last night that she had to leave the game for the rest of the first half.
