Judging by your response, LoHud girls basketball won’t be on TV very long.
Like I said yesterday, our first edition of “Varsity Central Extra” debuts live tomorrow on RNN at 6:30 p.m. You can call us there at 1-888-RNN-CHAT or you can e-mail your questions to me at jthomson@lohud.com.
So far, the e-mails haven’t exactly flowed into the inbox. So, please, if you have something you’d like to see us talk about on the air, please ship it over.
As for today: I’m over at Albertus Magnus for the game against Woodlands. I’ll check in later with my thoughts.

I do wardrobe syling for The NFL Today show on CBS. If this show takes off keep your shirts and ties in the same color family. Have your fiance approve of your choices! Good luck!
Why don’t you talk about the bad refereeing? You get around to different games. The problem from what I see is the inconsistency. One calls touch fouls while on the other end the other ref let’s everything go (or misses it!!).Thre Albertus -Woodlands game was a prime example with good defense suffering. They were anticipating calls and calling touch fouls that would never be called in a boys game.
An analysis of the premier “big girls” in Section 1 from both the Public and Catholic/Independent schools may prove to be an interesting feature as the season progresses – matchups, level of competition, stats – because the college scouts are always on the lookout for quality talent!
