    Josh,
As a side issue I never saw a score from the rematch of the Tappan Zee-Spring Valley game played on Tuesday. Just wondering if you had any info on that. Great job with all that you do. Big game up here tonight between John Jay and Lourdes. I have yet to be able to absolutely confirm this, but to my recollection and a few people I have spoken with, Lourdes has won the league that they have participated in for 27 straight years. That could all come to an end with a loss tonight, so you know they will be very fired up to avenge the earlier loss, I just think though that as long as Moran and Mcintyre come to play they are too much for Lourdes to handle

ballboy…I don’t have any info on it, but hopefully Jake can chime in later on this evening.

  3. Benched

Unless Jake is too busy covering a story about a second grade coach

  4. Juice 51

Just got this info off a blog on the Poughkeepsie Journal website:

“John Jay’s Caitlynn Moran banked in a 30-foot shot to beat the halftime buzzer and score the 1,000th point of her career, putting Wiccopee’s Patriots up 27-19 heading into the locker room against Lourdes.”

    P.S. – Juiceman is back!

  5. Jake Thomases

ballboy…That Spring Valley-TZ game got pushed back to next Sunday. It’ll be at SV at 3 p.m. I’ll be there.

    Benched…Please, I wouldn’t lower myself to a story about a second-grade coach.

    She was in first grade.

  6. The Voice

Double check your figures, I have Byram Hills at 2.56.

  7. Juice 51

Wow, so Lourdes comes back and beats JJEF.
    Lourdes 47, John Jay 46

  8. The Voice

My numbers are based off of what maxpreps has by the way.

  9. Josh Thomson

The Voice…I may’ve made a mistake. I’m hanging out with the lady right now before she goes to bed, so I’ll check back in an hour and redo my math. You may be right.

Juice…Thanks for the update…Everyone out there should’ve learned by now you can’t count Lourdes out.

  10. KDOG

I’ll tell you what, I would not want to see Lakeland in the first round of the A Tourney. Does anyone think they could make a run at the CC. It seems as though Tori has returned that they are a totally new team? If they were able to get back there, you would have to give Coach Fallo some respect.

    KDOG,
I don’t think that it would suprise anyone if they made a run to the County Center. My personal opinion is that they will be a County Center team, and a team that is very dangerous in the entire tournament. Good guard play and a dominating post player is a good formula for success

  12. mike

    Josh,

what about Saunders, looking at 12-8, will they be in AA or A bracket?

  13. Juice 51

I’m also picking Lakeland to end up at the County Center. I don’t see them making much noise once they get there but I will say this:
I wouldn’t want them on my side of the bracket and it wouldn’t surprise me if they prove me wrong.

Mike, Saunders is in the AA bracket.

Beacon was supposed to play Kingston today at Mount St. Mary College…as of now it’s been postponed.
