I’m checking in here from the new seats on the stage-side of the County Center. As you can probably see, there’s a reason people like to sit courtside.
In fact, people simply love sitting at the press table even though they aren’t press…but that’s an argument for a different day.
Anyway, this post was brought to you by technology. Not only was it written on my BlackBerry, the picture was taken on it too. (I know, I know…you can tell by the quality. Shove it.)
Check back later. I’ll have a couple adjustments to the state playoff schedule.

Josh Thomson has done some of everything since joining The Journal News in March 2003. He began working for the Gannett weeklies during the winter of 2002 as a freelance writer. He joined the daily staff soon after and has since covered various high school and pro sports. Away from sportswriting, Josh lives in Westchester and spends his free time either with his fiancee, Sarah, or expertly managing his various championship-winning fantasy sports teams.
