I had mentioned earlier this month that ESG scholastic coach Dan Ricci sent me info on his team’s tryouts. It’s now around the corner, so here are the details:
Monday, May 5th: at Ossining HS from 7:00PM – 9:00PM
Tuesday, May 6th: at Briarcliff HS from 7:00PM – 9:00PM
Monday, May 12th: at Mahopac HS from 7:00PM – 9:00PM
A difference this year is that interested players (in all sports) must register on the ESG website. You can do that by clicking here.
As I said a couple weeks ago, players are asked to attend all three tryouts. The games will be held from July 23-27 in Binghamton.

Josh Thomson has done some of everything since joining The Journal News in March 2003. He began working for the Gannett weeklies during the winter of 2002 as a freelance writer. Away from sportswriting, Josh lives in Westchester and spends his free time either with his fiancee, Sarah, or expertly managing his various championship-winning fantasy sports teams. He's visited 21 major-league baseball stadiums and insists that Fenway Park and Wrigley Field are the best by far. Josh graduated from Carmel High School in 1998, then went to Boston University, where, in 2002, he received a degree in communications with a minor in history.
