Scarsdale grad named coach at Cal-Santa Barbara

May

gottlieb.jpegCongrats are in order for former Scarsdale star Lindsay Gottlieb, who was named the head coach at UC-Santa Barbara today.

There are a couple interesting things to note about Gottlieb. 1) She helped recruit Angelei Aguirre to Cal, where Gottlieb was an assistant coach, and 2) She played for Luke Vaccaro back in the 90s. Remarkably, she made it out in one piece. (I’m just kidding.)

I’m going to try to catch up with Gottlieb at some point soon. But for now you can check out the school’s release on her hiring here.

Quick nitpick – we HATE being called Cal Santa Barbara. UCSB or UC Santa Barbara are the names we go by. The only Cal in the UC system is UC Berkeley.

Either way, we’re excited to see what Lindsay can do!

Congrads to Lindsay!!! Another WBA Lady Knick makes it. I guess the conspiracy spreads thoughout the Country not only in Westchester County and Section 1.
