For the first time this season, I’ll have not one but two guests seated alongside me for VC Live. They are Ossining juniors Hayley Awerdick and Alex Venuto, who will join me to open the show tomorrow at 7:30 p.m.
Awerdick and Venuto will sit with me for about 15-20 and answer my questions and yours. Then, as always, we’ll have poll questions for you to answer and I’ll be there to field your questions about anything LoHud basketball for another half hour or so.
If you haven’t watched the show, you can check out previous editions of VC Live here.
Among possible topics for tomorrow:
—Ursuline-Mount Vernon on Friday
—Woodlands friendship tourney on Saturday
—Pearl River-Irvington
—The scrambles in Classes AA and C
—The section-wide opening of league play
Also, if there’s anything else you want me to talk about? Let me know now, or log on tomorrow night. I encourage you to participate and have your voices heard!

Josh Thomson has done some of everything since joining The Journal News in March 2003. He began working for the Gannett weeklies during the winter of 2002 as a freelance writer. He joined the daily staff soon after and has since covered various high school and pro sports. Away from sportswriting, Josh lives in Westchester and spends his free time either with his fiancee, Sarah, or expertly managing his various championship-winning fantasy sports teams. He's visited 21 major-league baseball stadiums and insists that Fenway Park and Wrigley Field are the best by far. Josh graduated from Carmel High School in 1998, then went to Boston University, where, in 2002, he received a degree in communications with a minor in history.
