Girls basketball in the Lower Hudson Valley

…and a few more

June
2

I have a big signing to report tomorrow, but I’ll hold off for now.

Here are a few other players who expect to play ball in college:

Ariel Guzman (above) of Victory will attend Daniel Webster College in New Hampshire. She had a couple other opportunities at Division III schools, UMass-Dartmouth and Utica.

Imani Floyd, who played center for Class AA finalist Ossining, will attend Purchase.

Jen McSharar (right), a forward at North Rockland, will attend Manhattanville College.

Any others, please let me know.

    Josh,

Some of lower Westchester’s players are playing at Purchase, why not look into them? Purchase seemed to have a pretty successful year this year, making school history with their win’s record. Also these players have been impact players-it’d be somewhat refreshing to see some light shed on colleges that are local.
    Thanks

Congrats to all, while I don’t know Ariel at all I’m surprised she chose to stray away from UMass Boston. They have a pretty strong program and went on to the conference finals last season by defeating my school, Western Connecticut in the Little Eastern Conference semi-finals.

UMass Boston, WestConn, Eastern, etc… all have very strong programs. I’m not sure what division Daniel Webster is but regardless, congrats to her and all. It’s not easy playing college ball. I’m sure she and all lower hudson valley athletes will do just fine in college.
