I heard there were a lot of changes of coaches in Girls basketball is that true ??
Let the coaching carousel go round and round. Peekskill, Hen Hud, North Salem, Croton-Harmon…what are the others?
Crotn- Ben Martucci (Former Hen Hud Coach)
Hen Hud – Ken Sherman ( JV Coach Moving up)
Peekskill – Rodney Headley Jr. (Former player at Peekskill)
Thats all for now….
Those were the three job changes that I had heard of also. I know that up here in Dutchess all the coaches are returning for the Section One Schools. I still can’t believe that Peekskill was not happy with Coach Oliver. I have met Coach Headley and he seems more than capable of coaching the team, but that is a program that was in absolute shambles until Coach Oliver came in and built it up. Hopefully, if he would like to Coach Oliver finds another job soon
Clarkstown North, Clarkstown South, Albertus Magnus and North Rockland ?
New coaches at North Salem and Haldane as well. Not surprised about the Martucci move, I know he’s been teaching their his whole career. Did a nice job building up Hen Hud and leaves the new coach with the entire roster from last year.
